Get to Know Me:
Hi, I'm Jennifer, and it's a pleasure to meet you!
With over twenty years of experience as a Registered Nurse in the Pittsburgh area, I've had the privilege of witnessing incredible moments in life, especially the miraculous transition of women into motherhood. There's a unique magic and sacredness in those moments, whether a woman is welcoming her first child or her tenth. Each experience has had an impact on me and reinforces my commitment to support and hold space for women during such transformative times.
While I've contemplated furthering my education to become a Certified Nurse Midwife, which would mean only working in a hospital setting, I've realized that my true calling lies outside the traditional medical framework. I've currently been training with a Certified Professional Midwife, Donna Rhoem, who cares for women who want a home birth. That's the path I will also take. it's what feels right for me.
I am dedicated to staying present for women, of all varieties, ensuring they feel supported and cared for as they embark on this profound journey of motherhood, and promise to blend my medical knowledge with a holistic approach.
I aim to be a safe place-where evidence based practice meets compassion and empathy.

My Philosophy
Birth is a natural, instinctive, and deeply spiritual process, guided by the innate wisdom of both mother and baby. When supported holistically, birth unfolds in harmony with the body’s design, reflecting the profound connection between nature, mind, and spirit.
Proper nutrition lays the foundation for a healthy pregnancy, while a calm, trusting environment nurtures the birthing process. Women thrive when surrounded by compassionate caregivers who respect birth’s natural rhythm and empower them to make informed choices. When undisturbed, birth becomes a transformative journey, strengthening the bond between mother and baby and honoring the sacred wisdom of life’s beginning.
